TRIETHNÉS FESTIVAL Launches Partnership with the Municipality of Pustec Through First Co-Production in 2026

Laimos, 16 June 2026 — TRIETHNÉS FESTIVAL is pleased to announce the launch of a new production partnership with the Albanian Municipality of Pustec, located in the North Macedonian minority region of Albania. The collaboration will debut with its first co-production during the second edition of the festival.
“We are extremely happy that this collaboration is becoming a reality. In our vision and long-term strategy for the festival, expanding our activities into Albania from the very beginning was a key objective. This achievement has been made possible thanks to the unwavering support of our partners in Prespa and the success of the festival’s first edition,” said Jay Raissis, Executive Director of TRIETHNÉS FESTIVAL.
This partnership makes TRIETHNÉS the only festival in Greece to actively co-produce events from its main programme outside Greek territory. It is also the only festival in the EU to present performances beyond the borders of the European Union and to develop cross-border artistic projects with countries belonging to a different economic and diplomatic sphere.
The co-production with the Municipality of Pustec will feature a performance for solo percussion and performer on 28 August 2026.
Further details regarding the performance and its exact location will be announced as part of the festival’s full programme release on Monday, 29 June 2026.
