We are delighted to announce that this year’s academy is supported by the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation, whose contribution makes it possible to further expand the educational mission of the program.
Through this collaboration, PRESPENSIS continues its commitment to providing high-quality music education in the Prespa region and in communities with limited access to such opportunities. The academy offers young musicians—particularly students from the wider Prespa area—the chance to take part in an intensive artistic experience that combines learning, collaboration, and creative exchange within the unique natural and cultural landscape of the lakes.
By bringing together students, artists, and educators in one of the most distinctive cross-border regions of Europe, PRESPENSIS aims to cultivate new musical voices, meaningful connections, and a lasting relationship between artistic practice and local communities.
The second edition of the PRESPENSIS Academy will take place from 25–30 August 2026 in the villages of Laimos and Agios Germanos, on the shores of Lake Prespa, as part of the TRIETHNÉS International Music Festival.
