This year’s festival inaugurates a “festival within the festival”, a new nomadic section titled NOMAD PRESPA, inspired by the historic movements and cyclical way of life around the Prespa lakes. The initiative seeks to reintroduce movement and transition as an integral part of the cultural experience, transforming the landscape itself into a living stage.

For its 2026 edition, NOMAD PRESPA welcomes back percussionist Panagiotis Ziavras and performer Myrgon, following the great success of their performance at last year’s festival.

Blending sound, movement, ritual elements and improvisation, the two artists create an immersive experience that symbolically traces the routes and migrations of the people of Prespa throughout the centuries, inviting audiences into a poetic encounter with memory, landscape and displacement.

This production has been designed as part of the festival’s broader aim to bring audiences into dialogue with lesser-known monuments and landscapes of the Prespa region. As a result, the performance location is not fully accessible and requires a 25-minute hike along an easy walking path.

For visitors with difficulty walking longer distances, transportation by car will be available to a closer access point, from which the walking distance is reduced to approximately 5 minutes on a mountain path.
